Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are the artifacts authentic ?
Absolutely. Before any item goes onto our site, it is examined very carefully. And for the peace of mind for our customers, all items come with a 30 day guarantee.
  2. Could you tell me what my item(s) is worth ?
I'm sorry, we do not do appraisals at this time due to the overwhelming number of emails. I do suggest the consideration of purchasing a book that contains market values from our Book Section. This will give you a good idea of the price range of your item.
  3. Do you have any relics from my area ?
We have relics from all over North American. You can view items listed by the US state of origin.
  4. How do I get authentication papers ?
You need to contact an artifact consultant, they range in different areas of expertise. We recommend using authenticators from the same region the artifact was found. The authenticator will be more familiar with the characteristics of items from their area and they will be able to give you a more accurate opinion.
  5. Is it legal to buy, sell, and collect artifacts in my area ?
You cannot physically pickup artifacts from any lands owned or administered by an agency of the US Federal Government, including Indian Reservations. To hunt on private lands you must receive permission from the property owner. Your best bet would be to contact your local Department of Conservation. We will not be held responsible for incorrect information.

Authenticators issue the papers call COA which is a certificate of authenticity.
